NOTE: If there is an optic you want but the option is not available when creating your port, you can special order it. This generally includes a lead time up to 5 business days (if in stock).
You can work with your sales representative to make a special order. Additional costs might apply.
- Source availability zone
- Select a zone.
- Allocating connections within different zones supports redundancy.
- Source autonegotiation
- This option is only available when you select 1 Gbps. Autonegotiation means the port can automatically determine the best speed and duplex mode.
- Destination availability zone
- Select a zone.
- Allocating connections within different zones supports redundancy.
- Destination autonegotiation
- This option is only available when you select 1 Gbps. Autonegotiation means the port can automatically determine the best speed and duplex mode.
- Description
- Provide a meaningful name for your connection.
Billing
Select a contract length for the port. Then complete the following:
Select the appropriate billing account to associate with this service. You can also create a new billing account.
Review your information. When everything is correct, click Place order.
Per our cancellation terms, you have 24 hours to delete the connection without incurring any costs.
After the first 24 hours have passed, you can only delete services that are on month-to-month contracts.
Next steps
It might take a few minutes for your connection to provision. Once provisioned, you can generate LOAs and/or order outbound cross connects. For more information, see Cross Connects.
